Technical Talk with RF Talk with RF6/21/2021 6:00:00 PM6/21/2021 7:30:00 PM<p><span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-1">​ReliabilityFirst (RF) offers a regularly scheduled monthly call to provide Entities and stakeholders with a forum for addressing topics and questions relevant to reliability, resilience and security. These calls are typically held on the third Monday of each month from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. EST.</span></p><p><span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-1">While RF subject matter experts (SMEs) will provide presentations and updates, they will not address entity-specific questions and issues. We will also discuss generator capability verification (MOD-025), specifically how unit capabilities should move from the test environment to planning models (MOD-032). </span></li><li><span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-1">Additional discussion topics will include the differences between a unit test and capability verification, the NATF guidance document, observations from Peregrine Engineering on lessons learned and best practices, plus questions related to MOD-025 that RF has received through the Assist Visit program.</span></li><li><span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-1">This presentation is especially relevant for all planners and modelers, those performing capability testing, and anyone involved with the flow of data and information to the Transmission Planners. </span></li></ul><p> </p>
