PNNL has developed the Risk-Informed Verification and Validation Recommendation (RIVVR) tool that will leverage information from the utility user, device manufacturers and the cybersecurity community to compute a cyber-risk metric and recommend appropriate V&V testing techniques prioritized based on the type and score of cyber-risk. Relevant standards and tools will be provided for reference. The tool will also provide pre-procurement guidance and information about relevant vulnerabilities that will be useful to utilities when they are in the process of procuring new products. In this talk an overview of the RIVVR tool will be provided. Seemita will explain how PNNL's RIVVR tool can be used to perform risk-informed verification and validation in a streamlined and consistent manner throughout lifecycle of devices.

This presentation is especially relevant for SMEs in cybersecurity, resilience, and risk-identification.
